We were in the area visiting friends and stayed 2 nights in a cosy family room as a family of 3. The room overlooked the beautiful gardens, beds were all comfy, plenty of tea & coffee etc provided in the room. Kate & Nathan were more than welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. We ate at the Dartmoor Lodge restaurant for dinner 400m walk just up the road which we would recommend. Great location near to lots of different beaches. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area.

Great rooms with everything we needed, great breakfast and peacocks singing in the morning instead of an alarm clock. We loved everything about it.

They don't serve evening meals, but provided some great advice on places to eat locally; there are places within easy walking distance. The breakfast is definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had - really nice locally sourced produce cooked to absolute perfection. We would support Aidan's claim to the best scrambled eggs in the world! We were house hunting and were so impressed with our first stay we went back when we returned to the area the following week. They even accommodated us for a second night after we arrived when we wanted to stay in the area for an extra day 'on spec'. We would definitely recommend and will certainly stay again next time we are in the area.
