We highly recommend this place to stay.

It was very hot while we were here so it was a great place to hangout in the heat of the day. The museum in the castle is well worth the extra money too btw. Learned a lot

This was the best place we stayed in all of Albania for several reasons. The guesthouse itself is small and cozy. The location is unbeatable: less than 10 minutes walk to the bazaar and other sights, and very quiet. The restaurant across the street is almost an extension of the guesthouse and the staff there are welcoming and the food is good. The room itself was very small but that’s okay because we only slept there- most time was spent around Gjirokaster or on the terrace. The room and property is immaculately clean, and has one of the best showers I’ve ever had. The real highlights were the terrace and the hosts. That terrace with the view, shade, breeze, and smell of flowers is my happy place. Perfect for reading, relaxing, or having a drink outside. Mimosa and Pandeli are the most gracious, generous, kind, fun, hosts!!! We had so much fun using Google translation and pantomiming to have conversations. Mimosa was kind enough to bring us fresh fruit and salad on the hottest of days. Truly amazing people. Hope to see them again soon!!

Tony and his wife were incredible host and their guest house was perfect with comfortable beds and nice outdoor terrace and an absolutely perfect breakfast with an omelette, juice, Turkish coffee and fruit from their own garden. Tony’s friendliness made me feel right at home and when i hopefully return someday, there is no other place i would consider staying at.

For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. AN AMAZING PLACE!!! A great view over the whole oldtown and castle. Private table overlooking it all while having a beer in the evening or for breakfast in the morning. The hosts are super welcoming and they came to pick us up after we got a bit lost on our way with our car. The appartment is super clean and comfy! Easy walk to the castle and old town, and the walk up isn't too bad at all. Not too steep. Would have liked to spend a few more night here for sure
