The villa itself is beautifully designed — cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with traditional Balti touches that give it both character and charm. Waking up to panoramic views of the mountains and the sound of flowing water was the kind of peaceful moment I didn’t know I needed. What stood out most, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly welcoming — not just polite, but genuinely kind. They were always ready with a cup of chai, local stories, or travel tips that made exploring Skardu even more meaningful. The food? Deliciously homemade! Every meal felt personal — from freshly cooked parathas at breakfast to traditional Balti dishes for dinner. The best part was the villa’s location — close enough to explore famous spots like Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, and Shigar Fort, yet secluded enough to feel like your own private hideaway in the mountains. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and loved my room, it was pleasant, spacious and clean. Location of the hotel is very good, not far from Skardu airport. Staff are very friendly. Ameer and his family made me feel at home. They were always very kind and helpful, they would go out of their way to help. Whenever I required transport Ameer would help, advise and arrange. I was picked from and dropped off to Skardu airport. The breakfast was served whenever I asked and was delicious.

I was a solo female traveller traveling from China. I was initally staying at a place next to this guest house. That hotel rooms were not clean, wifi was very patchy and then i sifted to this Guest House, HikkInn. Everything from room to the transport service was just on point. The hosts were amazing, went out of their way to make me feel home and comfortable. Delicious Food, Speed wifi, safe, secure, peaceful, and comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Skardu. Thank you for everything Mr. Tahir.

This was a really exceptional stay! Taaj Residence is well situated in central Skardu, but very quiet. The garden is as beautifully maintained as the whole Residence. Staff is incredibly warm und helpful, they go out of their way to help you or arrange something for you, the also have a good address book! Food was lovely (the mother is an excellent cook!) and eating in the garden, soúrrounded by roses, cherry trees and apricot trees is a real treat. The bathroom is all in white - and so clean! Hot water runs in the morning and in the evening, electricity was always available and also WIFI worked well. The bed was good too. I will come back to Taaj Residence for sure!
