Riva is like a home from home. We had the best time staying in this clean, comfortable and welcoming place. The location is wonderful and being right on the water was the best way to wake up every morning. Gabi was amazing!! He was always happy to help us with anything we needed and more. His breakfasts are delicious; the perfect way to start our day. I would 100% recommend staying here for your time in Bocas.

Period stilted property in calm Saigon Bay, local neighbourhood. Super comfy bed and excellent sleep. Free bikes and kayak. Nicolas and his wife Ange were great hosts and provided lovely breakfast on outside decking. Beautiful spot for sunset. Warm and friendly with excellent library and board games. 1. Location: This place is paradise. The views from the terrace are incredible. They have a beautiful garden which is very much jungle. It comes with lots of pretty birds, monkeys, sloths, fruits and flowers. It's also very quiet (besides the sound of nature). 2. Food: There's nothing about the food that could be improved. Breakfast was incredible, with lots of fruit, and so was every other meal I had. Judith really places a lot of importance on the quality of the ingredients. Considering the quality it comes at a very good price. Great juices and I in particular loved the homemade hot chocolate. 3. Hosts: Judith and Fabrice are so nice and friendly. And really went out of their way to make sure that I had a great time there. For example when I mentioned to Judith how much I loved her chocolate she made sure there was some for every meal. 4. Comfort: It really is hotel standard which I found astonishing given that they are in the jungle. Hot water, very clean room and bathroom, great bed. And it was all done by someone with really good taste. Each room also has a lovely terrace with comfortable chairs and hammock and great view.

We loved this boutique hotel. We never had the breakfast but the freedom allowed at the hotel was great. Coffee was available in the mornings, free of charge. In the evening, we were able to help ourselves to ice or glasses that we needed to make our own cocktails. The staff, specifically Ariel, and his dog Lobo, was great. He was very friendly and helpful. We loved that the hotel was so laid back, so close to Bocas Town, and yet had restaurants nearby that we could easily walk to. The view from the deck of our hotel room was great. And the owner, Mandy, was very helpful even though she was not at the hotel during our stay. If we ever come back we will stay at this hotel again.
