We had a wonderful stay here. Everthing was really relaxing and the hosts were so kind. You can feel they enjoy doing everthing to make your stay confortable. Everything was excellent: the hosts Rene and Marianne, the location, the breakfasts and the “Hippo Wellness” And the nearby town Takaka was a nice place too with some good food.

Chalet was a lovely and comfortable stay for seeing the beautiful Takaka. The privacy and remote location beside the river was really relaxing while also being in an ideal location for seeing all the top sights in Takaka and beyond in Abel Tasman National Park. The chalet was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Sam and Ngarie were very accommodating and friendly hosts, we really recommend this place!
