The staff were kind nad caring, the breakfast was very nice- overall it’s a perfect stopover en route to Merzouga. We'd even go out of our way just to stay there again :) .

Moha, our host and colleagues, were very friendly and made us feel at home. The Amazigh people are so so friendly. The hotel is a 25min walk out of town centre. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, one of best we have had on our trips. A great stop over.

The owner shared a lot of knowledge with us about the area and we got free coffee at his cafe the next day. The woman cooked us a lovely tajine. But the best part was the children whom we played games with and danced and played Kash kash (hide and seek). We used Google Translate to talk all night and had an amazing experience.

This was one of the best hotels I stayed in. I came from the desert (merzouga) and stayed one night in this Hotel. The owner is absolutely nice and willing to help with everything and he didn’t wanted to accept money for it, he did allot for us. Bring us to the airport, bringing us to the center and back, repaired the shower derictly because it was little bit leaking and the pressure was little bit lower, but he repaired it within 2 minutes. I can’t describe, the hotel is really amazing. Smart tv, newest airco. Everything is close. And he was going to the shops for us, so they don’t gave us the touristic prices. I would come back to the city just for the hotel.

Extremely friendly host! When we arrived, he pleasantly surprised us with tea and pancakes. In the evening, he prepared tagine for us. In the morning we decided to leave very early (as early as 6:30) and he got up before 6:00 and prepared delicious treats for us on the way (Berber pizza and pancakes...) Right next to the accommodation there is a shop (owned by the host) where you can buy snacks and drinks.

Maison D'hotes Sahara has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Aoufous. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the inn, all rooms have a wardrobe.

Welcome was really friendly, fantastic location, special part of Morocco for a tranquil stay. Breakfast and evening meal first class and truly Moroccan. It is off the beaten track and offers a true taste of Morocco. First time have ever given a 10 rating and travel on a regular basis, just a special place even if hot water in shower unpredictable, just did not seem to matter.
