The room was impeccable clean, the balcony was a great hang out surrounded by the splendid view of the rice field, what a treat ! Then we had dinner prepared by the house, it was absolutely delicious, highly recommended!

The first time I stayed here was in 2016 and I love to return to this place to Amma Vasa, Samal, and now Lilly the dog! They welcomed us like their own family and I'm writing this now with wet eyes. The place itself is something you are searching for in the journey: clean, simple, and comfortable. The location is great also, just 5 minutes from the Ancient City and the lake by bike, that can also rent there. The hosts also helped us get our clothes to the laundry and dropped us near the only working restaurant even though it was late and heavy raining. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Location was great, meals were available and Shamila was an amazing host. She organised a wonderful wildlife park tour for us, meals and bikes for our visit to Polonnaruwa.
