I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Waiting for any way to fulfill our needs. The manager, Denusha, helped us organize our trip with a safari, taxi from the airport and to Dambulla, fun converstations and even dropped us off at our bus stop. The location was peaceful and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was close enough that we could walk to the lion rock and the Piderangela hike also.

I’m in love with this place, it has everything you need, it is super beautiful, spacious, calm, the best view to the rocks, how kind the owner is, always arranging everything for you, and super close by the lion rock entrance. We had a wonderful stay at this unique accommodation right in the middle of the jungle! With rooftop viewpoints, a tranquil pool, and outstanding service, this place truly offers a special experience. Even though it's located a bit off the beaten path, the atmosphere more than makes up for it—you might not want to leave at all. The included breakfast was so generous it practically lasted us all day. In the evening, there was a great selection of local and Western dishes made with high-quality ingredients (though portions were on the smaller side). The peaceful pool area was perfect for unwinding, and the staff really took Sri Lankan hospitality to the next level. Occasional evening power fluctuations were handled smoothly with a temporary diesel generator, but it switched off well before bedtime, leaving only the soothing jungle sounds. For mobile work, this place may not be ideal—the Wi-Fi relies on a mobile connection, which wasn't strong enough for demanding online tasks. But for a relaxing holiday segment in Sri Lanka, this place gets our full recommendation! We arrived by public bus from Kandy, changing at Dambulla, and then took a Tuk Tuk from the Sigiriya bus stop to the accommodation for 1000 rupees. During our stay, we rented a scooter in Sigiriya, while other guests used rental Tuk Tuks to get around.

Sahan was super nice host, very helpful and pacient. The room was comfortable and very clean.The location was perfect to explore the old town and the temples. You can rent bikes which is very convenient.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay here! Chaminda and his family were friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The room was of a good size for the two of us, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water were acceptable. It was walking distance to Lion Rock and I also liked that Chaminda shared about the other tours or rides that he can offer (he has a tuktuk) without being pushy, and he gave us complimentary rides a couple of times too. They also provided us with a superb breakfast which included some traditional Sri Lankan food. Do note that they have a dog (which was chained) and a kitten. There were a few mosquitoes and flies in the room (quite typical in Sri Lanka) but after awhile, they were gone (might have been due to the electric pest repellent). And they didn’t bother us at all. There’s also a mosquito net that can be used to cover the bed but we didn’t have to use that. We would stay here again!

The environment of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner has a large orchard. In a corner of the orchard, there is a beautiful botanical garden, which was designed by the owner himself. We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.
