Our stay at Mountain View Guest House was truly a dream come true, a perfect 10/10 in every way! We came here for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully arranged, with a breathtaking view of the mountains that we could enjoy right from our window. We absolutely fell in love with the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and create unforgettable memories together. But what made our experience truly special was the owner, Kanu. He is one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. Whether it was offering us rides in his tuktuk to explore the area, stopping at beautiful spots for us to take photos, or simply checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, Kanu was always there with a big smile and a warm heart. His son was just as lovely and helpful, making us feel like part of their family. The hospitality, the stunning views, the peaceful surroundings, and the love and care we received made this trip one we will cherish forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Everything about Mountain View was mesmerising, peaceful, and perfect. The breakfast was not the same each day, made from western and local dishes. Delisious. Organic fruits from the garden. Fresh coconut! The room and all the place were sparkling clean and comfortable. Very green, with a view, relaxing, birds, each time we were happy to go back there after sightseeing. The garden is beautiful and well cared for. Kumar was very, very helpful and friendly, he found a solution to every question that we asked him. Very clean and very good internet. He found to us aa very good driver and organised our trip to the next destination. One day we hope to come again, to enjoy the place and to see him again.

The hotel is run by a kind and humble man named Dulip, who really made our stay memorable. He took the time to explain everything, especially how to navigate local transport, and even offered to drop us off at the bus station for free. The hotel itself was beautifully clean, with a peaceful, forest-like atmosphere that made it so relaxing. This is a real hotel feeling stay. Very friendly welcome. Maxi and the chef are so sweet. Loved the location, close to busy Kandy (walking distance to Relic of Tooth) but far enough to have a quite and peaceful stay. The view is really amazing, no matter which room you have, same for breakfast (it's served outside with the stunning view). The rooms are very neat and the bathroom is really nice, hot shower and strong water 💪🏼
