The location is amazing! The mountains are so close, and in the winter, the blanket of snow over everything is mesmerising. It is positioned in a great apot to visit both Otaru and Sapporo. The train ride to Otaru is amazing with great ocean views. The room was not cold in the winter with the heater that you can use and the facilities were all very clean and well maintained.

The garden view is very beautiful. It has its own washing machine (paid with cash), so you can do your own laundry. And a parking lot if you come by car. Very quiet neighbourhood.

This is a great little place in a residential area, very well located to the main tourist strip in Otaru. There's a shared kitchen that I didn't use but looked well equipt. Room had a private bathroom. Very quiet. Parking spot is narrow, but typical for Japan. If you have a large vehicle, there is overnight paid parking nearby.
