Very friendly host, communicative (even if you dont speak the same language, there isn’t any language barrier -good use of google translate), with lots of good advices about various places of Sardinia. Superb homemade breakfast with pie, coffee and local fruit. Free parking. Big clean bathroom, which was for the time of our stay private, because there were no other guests. We would definitely go back.

Everything was amazing! Room was modern, spotlessly clean and super spacious. Beautifully decorated bathroom and lovely peaceful private terrace attached to the room. Antonello was a most useful and kind host, who takes care of everything and reacts promptly to any question. Ollalai is a lovely village in Barbagia - not a region for those looking for vibrant nightlife and entertainment, but ideal for those seeking tranquility and silent nights. It is a good starting point to explore this part of Sardinia with many interesting villages. The LaPlaza is a small establishment, with very nicely furnished rooms that one would not expect in such a small place very much off the beaten tourist track. Having said that, the town boasts at least three bars, of which at least the Alto Bar can - in addition to be a popular place for the locals enjoying beer and football matches - offer delicious local food at moderate prices. It is also the place where breakfast is served, though the LaPlaza also has a very useful common kitchen/eating room with fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc. The rooms overlook the pleasant main square with the church and a small super-market. From here there is a less than hour walk to a nearby hill with an old monastery of St Basil, from where there are further mountain trails. We truly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend LaPlaza.

The most beautiful B&B we’ve ever seen! Our stay at Alberto’s place was simply magical. We arrived very late due to a car issue, but he welcomed us with incredible kindness and absolutely no problem. He gave us plenty of great tips to explore the region and, despite the late hour, even managed to find us a restaurant that was still open at 10 PM! The room was like something out of a romantic fairytale, with a refined and warm atmosphere. As for the bathroom,it felt like stepping into ancient Roman baths, an absolute gem. And the breakfast? A royal feast, made entirely of local and homemade products, served with rare elegance. Every detail was thoughtfully curated. Alberto and his whole family treated us like we were one of their own. This level of hospitality is truly exceptional. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. A huge thank you for this unforgettable experience!

The owner, Laura, was super friendly and so was her husband. They treated us like old friends. They tried to help us as much as they can and told us to call them in case we need any help in town. The view from the b&b was fantastic. The breakfast was very well prepared and tasty. The room was clean.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Gavoi, B&B Didova is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain.
