My partner and I had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Marina. Maria and Armando are the warmest and most helpful hosts we have ever met. Every day, they greet us with a smile and make us feel like part of the family. Maria's cooking deserves special praise – it was simply heavenly! We ate better at Villa Marina than at any restaurant in the area. Everything is homemade with love: pasta, bread, sauces – all made by Maria herself. We couldn’t be happier and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The room was cool and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The host was extremely kind and helpful as was Silvia, the lady who helps. We are in the local pizzeria which was 20 min walk across the mountain. The people who worked there were also super friendly and helpful. The views from the terrace at breakfast were just stunning. We had a typical breakfast of bread, jams, honey, cakes and pancakes with freshly brewed coffee to order. Altogether a lovely stop in a beautiful, unspoilt part of Calabria

10/10! If you need a place to stay while in Lamezia, I fully recommend La Casetta di Nena. Antonella met me at the property upon my arrival and kindly ensured I was well settled and had everything I needed including fresh towels, cold water bottles, coffee pods, snacks, and working Wi-Fi. The room itself is very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are cozy, the AC cool, and the private bathroom clean and modern. You have access to the living room and kitchen which is a big bonus. Lastly, you can walk here from the train terminal in just six minutes plus there is a bus shuttle from the terminal as well that will take you to the airport.

I felt very welcome from the beginning till the end. Communication with the host is very easy and he is very attentive. The location was perfect for me to visit Lamezia terme but I use the train which is at 15 mints by walk ( 1 stop) . The house area is quiet with a 24 hours vending machine in front of the house and an amazing pizzeria( sapore di Sicily) at 2 minutes walk around the corner. The terrace has an amazing view of the mountain and the village is so beautiful (recommend walking around the" old town") it has its own beauty. The Single Room is very clean and comfortable and the sharing bathroom as well. Everything in the picture is how it looks in reality. I came in the night and he offered me a Taxi service for fair price. The attention was exceptional and I recommended if you come after 20:00. I highly recommend the place. Everything was exceptional.

The B&B is actually even better than in the photo: everything is brand new, modern equipment (a small detail is the sockets with USB/tips c), impeccable clean . Good shower (with rain shower head) - plenty of good space, very strong pressure and always hot water. Excellent breakfast; constantly cold/hot drinking water, which is very convenient and you don't have to carry cases of bottles from the store. I was afraid that it would be noisy from the trains and the road, but I didn't hear anything at night: the absolutely silent air conditioner and closed window guarantee a comfortable sleep Excellent location: the sea across the road is magnificent, beach, chairs/umbrellas - everything for relaxation. Last but not list: I am very grateful for the extraordinary hospitality of the hotel owner Antonio: assistance with airport/shop transfers, constant concern about whether everything is okay. Definitely recommend this B&B for longer stay
