We got the spectacular mountain view room so we could clearly see the glacier outlets. Great location for chasing the northern lights because the surroundings are farms with not much light. The food is nice. We had the signature local langoustine soup and vanilla ice cream for dinner and they were splendid. Rankes among my most favourite dishes in Iceland so far. The room is well equipped and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast.

The location was amazing, you could see right across to the glaciers from the cabin window. Stefan was very friendly when we met him and let us know we had a chance of seeing the northern lights! We saw them and the view from the cabin was beautiful. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The water was really warm for the shower and the cabin was kept toasty warm too!

We were so surprised when we arrived! House is even better than on photos. It is SO COZY!! There are so many little details, it is amazing. Once we arrived there we started to have a super good mood. There is everything that you can need and everything is in a very good state. Also we watched a netflix film on TV, it is super cool that there is a modern TV. I traveled in 25 countries and stayed in different hotels and guesthouses and this Haukaberg House is literally the best where I have stayed! I found no disadvantages at all. Bravo👏🏻

Very clean and perfectly equipped little apartement, everything new and modern. The bed is comfortable and the view is simply amazing (just by the harbour, perfectly located to watch some icelandic sunrises). A 100% recommendation from us!

Accommodation was in a long block of rooms using both sides of the building, and each room had electronic door locks, so we were sent the room pin before we got there, and there no need to check-in. The accommodation is new and the room has underfloor heating and a very modern backroom and shower. What we liked is that there is a kitchen area that the guest can use and full use of plates and cutlery inc the microwave and plenty ot tables and chairs. So, there is no need to eat in your room The room was very modern, and the beds were comfy, and the room could get warm, so use the thermostat on the wall to change the temperature. Great place to stay if you want to visit the Glacier ad it's about 1hr feom diamond beach etc. Overall, it was a very good place to stay
