The 19th Golf Lodge is a traditional Irish hotel located opposite the venerable Ballybunion Golf Club. Famous golf professionals and even the American President have stayed here. The lovely owners Mary and James gave us a warm welcome and gave us an unforgettable stay. The breakfast was good and lovingly prepared - Mary makes the best pancakes I've ever eaten in Ireland. It was completely quiet at night and we slept excellently in the large beds. This is not a given, as I know from experience. Conclusion: If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a traditional house run by extremely pleasant people, this is the place for you!

The hostess was super nice and was kind enough to make us dinner reservations at a local restaurant. The breakfast was fantastic and they had some cool common rooms that included a pool table.

This was an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is located just outside of Kilkee center, making it quiet, yet close enough to walk to the shops. All the staff were kind and courteous. We were able to get recommendations for dinner spots and activities to do in the are. Our room was clean and comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, and the fresh juice was to die for! I would absolutely stay here again!

It is a calm place but still easy to reach a multitude of attractions nearby or enjoying some good food in the area. The room is spacious and the well thought corner for tea and coffee as well as entering the bathroom made you feel like being at home. Nothing missing. Had a first message in an instant like after booking, making sure my trip would be enjoyable also in regards of breakfast. And breakfast was really nice. A lovely and caring host.
