The thought that has gone into designing every aspect of Rinjani Lighthouse is outstanding: the location (with Mt Rinjani in the background) is breathtaking, the garden and common area are really aesthetic, the bamboo huts are comfortable and designed in an environmentally conscious manner, and the service was excellent! Bonus: the food, especially the local dishes, were delicious; one tastes the freshness of the ingredients and the care that goes into preparing it!

Mr Joe is such a kind and honest man, and gave us an authentic experience of the Bayan area. Best host ever and a lovely family! Beautiful views of the valley from the bungalows and you can go swimming in the river just a short walk down the hills and rice paddies that Joe showed the way for us. 100% recommend staying here to everyone, and recommend going on a day tour with a local driver through Joe to see the strong cultural and heritage places of Bayan and the waterfalls. Mr Joe is very caring about his community and we learnt so much about Bayan. We booked an extra night because it was too nice to leave!

The accomodation was one of a kind! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had multiple informative and inspiring chats with staff and manager. It's located right beside the nature reserve and in walking distance to two waterfalls. My partner did a two day/one night Mt. Rinjani trek, organized by the accomodation and was more than happy with the guiding, the food, the equipment and the overall experience. But also when you're not going on a trek it's a wonderful and peaceful stay here. Thank you so much guys! I would love to be back one day.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very helpful and friendly. They let us borrow their scooter to get around and made delicious breakfasts in the morning. The coffee is also great! We enjoyed being in this area for the stunning hikes. Definitely recommend.
