Great location for us doing a long journey down to Cornwall. Room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was fab. Dogs were incredibly well catered for - plus there's a local park and country paths 2 minutes walk from The Hatch Inn. Food was excellent served in a very pleasant dining room as was breakfast.

Breakfast was well presented and service was fast and friendly. The room was large and well appointed, including unexpected items like needle and thread, clothes press. Bed was comfortable. It was ideally suited for those using the Somerset Heritage Centre.

We liked the responsiveness and helpfulness of the host. The room was spacious, clean and quiet at night with full blackout curtains. The bathroom was excellent very big, modern and great shower. Extra touch I really appreciated was the ground coffee and cafetière - enjoyed a nice cup of coffee in the morning!

Fantastic location , friendly staff, , nice rural area, great premises, food was delicious too. The owners are wonderful to deal with and went out of their way to accommodate us this showed in their staff too who were all so pleasant. Very popular restaurant and bar - nice outdoor setting. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The owners, the staff, the locals and the setting really make this place. The garden is really nice and the building itself is in really good shape and has a lot of interesting historical features to take in. We were leaving very early for a motorbike course and a delicious lunch was prepared for us to take with us as we were missing breakfast that morning. We did get to try the breakfast the next day and can confirm it was delicious and made using proper sausages and locally sourced eggs etc. There was a free live band provided on the Sat night and they were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay, right above the pub the staff are so friendly and the locals are welcoming. Room was a lot bigger than I expected Would highly recommend.
