What a gem to find on the A1 - Highfield Farm offered a warm comfy haven on a long journey. The room was comfy warm and so clean with a spaceious ensuite. Plenty of room for a family stop over. Also a large lounge available for all guests to share. Breakfast - again excepltional care and attention taken of the guests.

Everything you need is there: cold water bottles in a mini fridge, even an electric fan - it was very hot outside - a very comfortable bed, a bathroom with window, tea and coffee ( even a coffee-machine)! The staff was very friendly and breakfast and lunch at the pub delicious.

The host was friendly, breakfast was excellent and the house incredible. Do not miss an opportunity to stay here! Everything was clean and cosy, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Will definitely be staying here again.
