Great location just steps from a huge beach where you can decide if you want to stay in a beach bar among people or walk a bit and be pretty much alone. Very friendly owner who is happy to help and advise with any question you might have and is also great cook if you want to order e.g. a special dinner :)

Hotel Hibiscus is a great place to stay! Even if the rooms are very simple, the keyfactors match totally. Very comfortable and super clean bed, great internet which offers you wifi at the beach, super well working Airconditioner and Van, and a big fridge. Christian, the owner, is super friendly and helpful and you have just 50steps to the beach!

Baliyana Lodge is located in San José Pinilla and features a pool with a view and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

The best thing we came across in all Costarica. Beautiful beach with almost no people, delicious food made by Karen and lovable company of both Karen and Jack. Will be coming back.

The hosts Agnes and Joe are great people. The breakfasts had very nice family-like vibes. Several fruit options, musli, jam, jogurt and choice of eggs. It had a very nice view over the trees towards the ocean. The pool was also quite nice. The common areas were spacious so every guest could have their own privacy if wanted. There was a fridge in the kitchen offering soft drinks, beers or wine for a good price. The rooms were cleaned every day. If we ever come back to Costa Rica this will be the place to return to. I don't think I have experienced anything like Casa Vitality before. It was simply amazing! As a regular solo traveler, I try to seek out places that are a bit more relaxed, with an ability to chat to other travelers. Yannick and Ryan have created such a beautiful community at Casa Vitality. They are so helpful with suggestions for places to visit, tours etc. and Yannick's breakfasts are just superb. It is so close to the beach and Bodhi Tree, and the swimming pool is such a great bonus. As for their beautiful little dog, Muffin, she is the real star of the show! Thank you all for such an amazing experience. I cannot wait to visit again!!
