The very warm welcome and attention to detail for all facilities especially large buffet at breakfast Inc the crispiest bacon. They were exceptionally kind and recommended good restaurants too. Will defo return especially as an easy drive to the Shuttle crossing. The Cocoon is only a few minutes walk to the Cloth hall. Easy parking outside the Cocoon too.

Our host, Karen, was fantastic. Very friendly, and gave us great tips on places to eat and drink locally, as well as recommending places of interest to visit. Breakfast was great. The accommodation is located very close to the centre of town, with parking available across the street.

Amazing location and the services were great as well. I enjoyed that there was a bathrobe available and I enjoyed the view to the town square. Access to a market to find other necessities was helpful as well (1 min walking). Thankyou!

Het Kapittel host was very helpful in assisting us with our urgent luggage 'situation', enabling us to visit my Great Uncle's early 1915 wartime experiences on the Ypres Western Front (luggage free); and making us feel welcome. We really appreciated his efforts to assist our 'limited travel options' in enabling us to 'walk the battle fields unencumbered. Sadly, my Great Uncle was killed 25th January 1915, along with his first cousin, 8th March 1915. The big bonus for us was being able to visit his final resting place at the London Rife Brigade Cemetery, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium. Really appreciated the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate, those guys who dedicate themselves to the ceremony have my lasting gratitude.

    Very warm welcome by the hosts. Excellent, plentiful and delicious breakfast. Very spacious apartment with an upmarket, boutique feel. The bedroom-bathroom- living space is all open plan, with a separate dining space near the entrance. Very comfortable bed. Great location and just a short walk into centre of Ypres, very quiet and peaceful area.
