The room was quiet and comfortable. The location was easy to access with some great options for food and drinks, even late night options.

Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining. The property was designed by internationally acclaimed interior design firm, Champalimaud and features works of several Hawaiian artists in partnership with The Honolulu Museum of Art public art program. This was honestly, one of the only times where I've stayed at a hotel and the room looked EXACTLY as it's shown in the photos-- Every other time you can tell the photos have been strategically taken, but not here! The location is great, the room was exceptional; the view was stunning, it's wonderfully quiet, the pool is beautiful and all the staff were incredibly helpful.

The host greeted us upon our arrival late at night and happily shared about all the exceptional amenities. Beautiful shared space for a short stay with a beautiful ocean view and access to an inviting swimming pool. We did not make the time to enjoy the pool on this visit; next time. The space was well organized with bins to store food items and access to fridge space on a nice outdoor veranda overlooking plush trees and a spectacular view of the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful first stop on the island. Great first impression!

Located within 13 km of Lava Tree State Park and 17 km of Lava Tree State Monument, Wild Blue Water provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pahoa. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Every room is fitted with a balcony with views of the pool. Situated on the side of the house- a very spacious, spotless clean bedroom and huge bathroom. Coffee and tea provided, limited cooking, we ate when out exploring the area. Shops and restaurants about 15min drive away.

The property has garden views and is 24 km from Lava Tree State Monument and 45 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and full-day security for guests. The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

This 4-star hotel offers a bar. The hotel has a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. Everything about this resort was amazing. From the first moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are above and beyond, and the location is simply paradise !

The property is around 19 km from Lava Tree State Monument, 25 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo and 28 km from University Of Hawaii, Hilo. Each room is fitted with a patio with garden views and free WiFi. Lovely peaceful location near the coast, super quiet. Great amenities, the laundry room of stuff to borrow was great - the cool box was really useful on day trips! Andy was super friendly and provided us tips on local spots to visit and gave us detailed directions and checking in instructions

We can highly recommend the Orchid Tree B&B. It has a great location, close to the city center and the airport. The rooms are tastefully decorated and cozy. The exceptionally friendly landlord is always available to provide helpful tips on dining and sightseeing. The garden is a well-maintained tropical paradise, and breakfast on the terrace is simply heavenly. Everything is wonderful and invites you to stay longer. Definitely worth a visit!
