The property has atraditional exterior, which was fully renovated, and is at just 300 metres from Commerce Square, which overlooks the Tagus River. Where do you start? Large room, great bed, welcome bottle of wine, daily replenishment of refrigerator items (eggs, cheese, yoghurt, butter, fruit, milk, granola) plus a bag of fresh rolls, croissants, Portuguese custard tarts, hung on the door each morning! - a coffee machine with capsules! - a washer dryer, bath robes, and the list goes on. The staff without exception were excellent, especially Alex who checked us in and came up to give us a run-down of the apartment’s features. We saw him often in the week we stayed. The location was brilliant. Close to restaurants, landmarks and transport.

Áurea Museum by Eurostars Hotel Company is a unique 5-star property situated on the banks of the Tagus River, in a historic building in Lisbon's iconic Alfama quarter. The hotel features a permanent archaeological exhibition, as well as modern facilities, like an indoor pool, restaurant, massage room and Turkish bath. Big room, clean, beautiful bathroom, quiet, coffee machine and cattle and the museum inside the hotel with ancient roman ruins!!! And the remote for TV was desinfected!!
