Super nice property in a quiet jungle paradise on Bastimentos Island. Very well maintained garden and guest cabins with everything available to enjoy nature like a snorkeling spot right in front, a jungle loop hiking trail and free use of good kayaks and SUP boards. A sloth was hanging out with her baby in a tree next to the restaurant and it is easy to spot the red frogs nearby, see amazing corals and fish in the snorkeling spot and other wildlife. The owners are extremely nice and the food was amazing every day.

Staying at Carmen’s was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into her home. The place is beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, a lovely dock, and a lush garden perfect for relaxing. The facilities are excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the warmth and hospitality of Carmen and Marcel. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, always with such kindness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant—a perfect way to start the day. And in the evening, Carmen’s home-cooked dinners were a treat—she prepares the freshest fish of the day, and all the guests gather around the table to share a meal and great conversation. Carmen was incredibly helpful with everything, from tending to a blister on my foot to organizing day trips. This stay was more than just accommodation—it was a truly memorable experience. I can’t recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Simplesmente incrível – uma experiência autêntica e memorável! Reserva feita através do Booking – tudo simples e fácil. O lodge fica na ilha de Bastimentos (Bocas del Toro, Panamá) e um dos anfitriões, o Brian, veio buscar-nos de barco à ilha principal, o que facilitou imenso. Foi logo super simpático e acolhedor. O espaço é deslumbrante – no meio da vegetação, totalmente sustentável e “off grid”, com um respeito enorme pela natureza. As instalações estavam impecavelmente limpas, decoradas com muito bom gosto e em perfeita harmonia com a paisagem. Um lugar tranquilo, silencioso e ideal para relaxar e desconectar. E a vista era paradisíaca. Os anfitriões, Brian e Daniel, foram excecionais: prestáveis, simpáticos, atentos, sempre com boas conversas e sugestões sobre o que fazer na zona. Ajudaram sempre a arranjar transportes e mostraram verdadeiro interesse na nossa experiência. E o destaque final: a comida! O Daniel, que foi chef de cozinha, prepara refeições absolutamente incríveis. Sabor, apresentação, tudo perfeito. Demos por nós a dizer “uau” a cada prato. Enjoy the captivating environment of our eco-resort, which offers a harmonious blend of comfort, services and memorable experiences. We are committed to preserving the environment and biodiversity. We really enjoyed our stay at Eclypse de Mar. The bungalow was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. We loved the direct access to the water and used the complimentary kayaks and paddleboards it was a great way to explore the surroundings.

Luis and his family were so hospitable, the food he cooked us was delicious! The place itself is so tranquil looking over the water. We loved staying here and wish we could’ve stayed longer, it was very chilled and simplistic island life.
