Whether it was lounging by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or exploring the local beauty, every moment at Ataraxia was pure bliss. I can’t recommend this place enough! The location is great and very calm but yet, only 5 minutes in taxi boat from the main area. The owners are extremely nice and helpful and their food was excellent

The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We took a tour through the hotel which was a great day with Alejandro, and it was great value. Manuela gave us great restaurant recommendations. Fred and the rest of the hotel staff were so nice The whole stay was just fantaastic

Carenero Beach is 2.6 km from the hotel. Bocas del Toro Isla Colon International Airport is a few steps away. We loved the vibe in Old Bank, Bastimentos and the hosts of the Caribbean View. The hotel is run by a family and theyre all really friendly and helpful. The son Luis can also take you on some amazing trips with his boat. The room is very big and clean, and every day your room is cleaned. Sometimes there is a problem with water on the island but when you ask the owner he puts the water straight on for you and you will have warm water to shower
