The standard maldives resort has become one of my favourite places to be. Everything from the date of arrival till the date of departure was extraordinary. The staff was very friendly and treated us like family. Our island host was Mr. Shamaau, he was quite friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was amazing and the cleaning services were superb as well. Our stay was not boring at all thanks to the daily activities that were setup everyday. Some of the staff that i know and i would like to mention their names who showed us extra love were Jada, Hassan at kula restaurant. Cookie at front desk is amazing person to talk to. Sharan at the todis bar treated me like a brother. The tour guide and sailor Khalid was very informative and has a lot of knowledge about the island. He showed us the local life of the Maldivians. Despite of the harsh weather he safely managed everything about the tour. In addition to above, i might have missed alot of staff as i dont know their names but it really felt like we have not come to different place but it felt like we were home. Everyday the whole staff were very friendly in greeting us. I would like to Thank Mr. Shamaau for making our honeymoon trip the best one. His support and love will never forgotten. And thanks to the entire team for their love and kindness. I cant wait to come back to the standard maldives resort my second home.

Male International Airport is 37 km from the property. This was the most beautiful holiday, everything was perfect, from the most polite staff, immaculate organisation, amazing food, location - everything! Resort is big and beautiful, rooms also, a lot of activities, amazing for young, adults and kids! This was my first time here but definitely not the last one! The resort provides an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, karaoke and a kids' club. The staff were amazing. We especially liked our host Shaily. She was very attentive, explained everything well, responded promptly to our concerns and was always at our service. The buggy drivers were always very helpful and friendly. The service provided was the best we have ever experienced and a highlight of the trip. The food was also phenomenal, and it was nice to have different themes throughout the week. Variety of options for all meals and everything was flavourful. The room was cleaned at least twice a day, and they kept everything immaculate. It truly was a great stay and a place that we would highly recommend to friends and family.
