We booked a Japanese-style corner room for 3 nights and had a large garden to ourselves. The garden in the common area is also very beautiful esp at night. We opted for half board our entire stay and were very impressed with the food! The menu was different every time and we found ourselves anticipating what they’ll serve for the next meal. One of the meals they served was an all-puffer fish meal, which is arguably one of the best and most unforgettable meals of my life. The staff were also very warm and helpful up until the very moment we left. Definitely worth making the trip to Hagi just to stay here.

The Japanese breakfasts were delicious and each ingredient was introduced and explained. The evening meal was wonderful, one of the best meals this month in Japan. The room with western beds and a japanese room was very comfy and clean and the onsen was perfect for a small hotel. Overall the hotel was so relaxing and we felt welcome, even though we only spoke a little Japanese. The beach in front was idyllic and the ceramic shops were great, having a chance to meet the ceramicists . The best hotel vidit so far! Thank you!
