The guest house has family rooms. A very nice and cosy place, it's not very big but it's comfortable and the floor heating was keeping it nicely warm. We didn't meet with the hosts but the communication was fast and the check-in & check-out process was smooth. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the address was easy to find, close to the airport and some nice tourist spots. We've chosen this location, as there was a higher possibility to observe the Northern Lights, even if the activity is low and surely enough, we managed to see them through the window. The Gardur Lighthouse is also within walking distance, which is also a good spot for Aurora, so it was quite convenient. Also, the beds were really soft and comfortable and we had a goodnight sleep.

Keilir Hotel is a 15-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. The Viking World Museum is 4 km away. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room had a beautiful view, was very clean and the bed were very comfortable. The hotel is well located and within 15 minutes of the airport. It is perfect for a stop over but would be comfortable for a longer stay too.

Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a water park. All rooms are fitted with a balcony with pool views. The caravans were in good shape and had the power necessary for everything we wanted to do. The staff were fun and courteous. They seemed like friends I just met. Check-in/check out was a breeze, and staff transported us to/from the airport (saving us a couple of hundred bucks).
