Our room was very pleasant, the furniture and objects were chosen with great taste, the shower was very comfortable, and the bed allowed us to enjoy a truly restful night. The breakfast room is the jewel of the place: the furniture and tableware are beautiful, the cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and jams are delicious, the warm bread releases a gentle steam when broken, and Gunnar is busy in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor. Situated in Hejls, in a historic building, 16 km from Koldinghus Royal Castle - Ruin - Museum, Bed & Breakfast “Den Gamle Lade I Hejls” is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace. They spoke English which was quite nice. The apartment had everything we needed for our overnight stay. We had a huge yummy breakfast in the morning and the beds were comfy.

Situated on the beachfront, this property has barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Huge and very comfortable bedrooms with our own, more than fully equipped kitchen including a huge wine fridge to be able to purchase from. We were welcomed with amazing home made Danish dream cake. The breakfast provided the following morning was 10 star. Prepared by the lovely hosts Jeanette and John, with all fresh produce including baked eggs, sausage and bacon in ramekins, various fresh homemade rolls and pastries. And followed by every fresh summer fruit you could imagine, cheeses and sliced meats. We could not fault a thing about this stay. World class 5 star experience for sure. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel well taken care of immediately. The Tiny House was beautiful, exceptionally clean, modern, and charming, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We had never been in a Tiny House before and fell in love with it. The kids could play in front of the house, at the playground, or at the beach, which was fantastic. Overall, this was a highlight of our trip to Denmark. We highly recommend visiting this location. The surrounding areas and beaches are well worth exploring.
