Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out. Offering city views, Marché 28 Guesthouse is an accommodation located in Montreux, 600 metres from Train station Montreux and 29 km from Lausanne Railway Station. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Location is good, in the center. Clean, organized apartment. The owner provided cleaning/room service every day, including changing towels, filling in coffee/tee. The terrace is very nice, allows to sit outside and rest/eat. Few notes for visitors, as i myself like to read for information; Montreux is on hills, take into consideration that even if close to the lake, the path can be steep and not convenient for everyone by foot. there is a bus to use of course. the apartment has a bedroom and living room where there is sofa that you can open for additional 2 people, but in my opinion, the sofa is good for children, less for adults, possible to sleep but not ideal.

Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment. the location was perfect for our TMB hike- en route, and an easy walk to restaurants and small grocery store. an older apartment but perfectly comfortable with excellent bedding, wifi and good kitchen and fridge. the ‘no appointment with owner’/ keycode access was excellent. Communication with owner was excellent.

This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!
