We were pleasantly surprised by the river view from our room. The homestay is right by the river and there are floats and paddle boards that you can take into the river for free (or you could just jump in and swim!). We did that one evening & it was one of the best experiences we had just chilling on the river and taking in the splendid views. One night, the host invited us and other guests to join her family for dinner and drinks. It was very kind of them to include us in their family celebrations and not ask us to pay for anything. The homestay is quite far out but the host picked us up from the city centre on two occasions when we arrived in Phong Nga and another time when we could not get a Grab back. She also arranged a tour to the Dark Cave for us, which was absolutely amazing and fuss-free. Breakfast is included where you get a choice between eggs or pancakes!

The family is very friendly and helpful. They picked us up and dropped us at the bus stop, they kindly lended us an umbrella, they made a vegan breakfast for us. Great place to stay, totally recommended

The staff and owner where so nice and wanted the best for us. Helped us with tours. Först two nights we hade a room that was very damp etc. Then we moved to a room with riverview and it was so nice. The food was good and at the whole it was very priceworthy.

My stay here was absolutely awesome. All the travelers that were there were like a small family to me. Even the owner picked me up from the bus for free and took every guest to their buses for free as well. Dinner was delicious, they can make vegan food with tofu and rice. Also, it has some hammocks next to the river and the views are great. I would have stayed for a week if I could!

I was looking for a peaceful and simple stay so Charm’s was perfect. the scenery is super. homey at the same time, chicken running around. mind the rooster at night making some noise ;) the friendly staff makes u breakfast at ur preferred time (several options at the menu), helps organising the transportation, even the connecting buses to other locations. there’s an old bike you can ride, local boat stop which can take you across the river is within a short ride away.
