The views were amazing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Overall, we had a very nice experience staying in Gente D'Aqui. Special thanks to Sara, who was our host at that time, and was very friendly and looked after our family very well. Prior to travelling we also had a lot of help and assistance from Joao, who answered all of our questions promptly, in a very kind and patient manner. Gente D'Aqui is well-located for visiting all the tourist highlights on the island of Sao Tome.

We loved absolutely everything there. It is on a perfect spot, in a lovely village close to an amazing surf spot. Spacious and very well equipped. From the first day we felt home. Excellent hotel - spotlessly clean, fantastic location super close to ST city center and beaches, excellent staff, they really did everything to make you feel happy and welcome, nice new rooms with decent view and inviting chill out area with pool and palm trees. Perfect ending to our vacation and a real treat after days in places without water or electricity.

Amazing location and facilities. Beautiful views. Well equipped kitchen. Mostly private beach ( with the exception of a few people walking by) The staff were kind looking after a few stray dogs on the property.

The guesthouse is a "perfect choice" with a great location, clean rooms, tasty food, and helpful owners. It's close to the beach and quiet. The view to the airport is stunning. I do recommend for families and also solo travellers who wish to come to this wonderful island. The owner has helped me with everything, from the tours with him, the free pick up and drop off at the airport, the best restaurants that he has taken me and so on.

Fernando was an excellent host, picked us up and brought us again to the airport and was very nice. The small apartment is very clean, in a very convenient location a few minutes from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was also great in the patio in the garden. Thank you for the excellent homemade juices!
