Everything was perfect, and I couldn't get anything more for the last stop of my honeymoon. When I said goodbye at my departure, I was already thinking about when to come back.

Though we stayed for only three nights, the warmth, professionalism, and excellence of the team made it truly unforgettable. Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. Everything was perfect and over expectation! The hotel is very clean and the staff is willing to satisfy all of your needs. The owner will welcome you and he really wants to meet the guests with real interest! He is there for every need. They really care to have the best experience, to feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. The breakfast is very good. There is everything for all tastes, they prepare every morning your omelete by the time you go to eat breakfast! Of course there are foods from the local cusine. The best dinner on the beach ever comparing to others that we saw. We were alone in the whole beach and the scenery was like the best romantic movies! The island is totally safe and the local people are so kind and good willing. Everyone in this island is friendly. I can't describe the beaches with words, you must go there and you will understand! It took us a lot of days to reallize that this place really exists. Way better than any tropical picture i have ever seen. Since now it was the best trip of our lives!

Lovely twin suites shared with son and partner. Superb food and the staff were exceptional throughout our trip. Also superb value for money.

Beautiful hotel at the beach on a calm local island. Staff are incredible nice and there is variety of tours available, so there is no chance to get bored. Snorkeling with mantas, turtles, fishing...you can do anything. SUP rental was available too and it was great to paddle around. Akeyz is very attentive and ready to help. There is a roof top restaurant and they also serve delicious coffee. Thank you for beautiful memories :-)

10/10 for service! Hassan and his team really go out of their way to make sure you’re having a good stay. We went on a tour to see the nurse sharks with them at a fabulous price. Shout out to Fleming who also made our stay really special, and showed us some stunning snorkelling spots around the island. The people here are what make this place so special - you have to stay with them on your trip to Omadhoo! I can’t comment on the accommodation itself as when we arrived it had been overbooked. Alternative accomodation was arranged for us nearby at a lovely hotel. Breakfast was delicious on the beach every morning.

So! Let’s lost whole your stress and fast life - stay in this place! In compare to another our visited place in Maledives - it was more than expected. The staff (rather the Great Nice Team with really phenomenal Manager!) prepared many nice surprices, very good food (our recommendation is to ask about nice buffet dinner here!). So - finally, even if it’s sounds strange - don’t think about beaches only (bikini beach is very close, this is nearest acommodation, 3 min), don’t think about excursions only (sandabank and all typical activities are available) - the base of this acommodation is really local Island with fantastic/magic team on that house. Of course don’t plan your visit here if you need 5 (or 6)stars hotel , but be sure this team provide everything (personally and with the highest atention) what is possibile here. What is not possibile - its not possibile, if you need your own meaning of luxury everyday stay at home;) But if you need Maledivian hospitality and individual realtionships with the friendly people and very, very good standard - stay in Ocean Lilly Inn. And the position of this house on the Island is the best in our opinion. It was also 20th anniversary of our marriage (after unexpected unfriendly cancellation in another place/Island). Can you belive - the Manager in Ocean Lilly Inn organized all in less than two days before our arrival, even seats on spedboats when the seats are normalny unavailable/sold out. So, what a good result: to stay in that place with great events and standard better than expected we decided about this place. Also for this occasion it was ideal. Thank you!
