Beach Hotels in Nosy Komba

the location of Remo and Berenice was gorgeous-on an island in paradise with large cabins(all facilities) built to make the most of views over the ground/beach to the beautiful blue sea . Each cabin had a large terrace with a covered area for a table and 2 arm chairs and an open area where there were 2 sunbeds. Every morning the sun bed mattresses were put out-the sun shade was put up-they have thought of everyones` needs and provided. We were asked if we had any food allergies or dislikes (which we do not have ) Our first meal was a lobster starter followed by fish with rice. Although there was not a choice of food , the meals were all delicious. We met Berenice on our first morning and when we said we had come to snorkel she smiled and pointed out to the sea!! The coral was 100 yards for their beach. Berenice also arranged for a local man to take us by boat a little further up the coast to snorkel. The sea was so clean and clear we saw coral all the way to where we actually snorkeled in an area of the best healthy coral we have ever seen (we have been nearly everywhere .) Two turtles swam with us and there were many varieties of fish...lovely.

The most beautiful place we have ever been! The care is perfect, Annie takes care of everything! She is the soul of the place! The room, the meals, the cleaning, the beach are perfect! The trips were fantastic, thank you Ali! We will be back next year!

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful new small hotel, nestled like a botanical garden between the ocean and the forest. It’s lovingly built and run by a fantastic family, and from the very first moment you feel completely at home in this vibrant natural paradise. On Nosy Komba there are no cars or tuc-tuc, just peace and quiet. The bungalows are spotlessly clean, with a modern design that blends local materials and thoughtful details. The food is fresh, local, and absolutely delicious, and the service couldn’t be better. A heartfelt thank you to Spela, her husband Borut, and their daughter for their warmth, availability, and wonderful recommendations. Their dedication and passion for bringing their dream to life shines through in every detail.

Everything was just super-perfect. This is the right hideaway for couples to unwind, relax and enjoy the quiet island life and beauty of the coastline, above and underwater! ... and all this while still being able to connect to the outside world (great wifi ;-) ). Rooms are wonderfull, views are great (sunsets), there is a housereef in front, turtles around. Food is great and the chef is always ready to tend to your suggestions. Caipirinhas in the pool, overlooking the sea... The diveshop is well equipped and the dive guides are super-friendly and professional.

Despite confirmation # they couldn’t find the reservation from Booking.com. Did manage to sort it out and they agreed to match the reserved price. Clean spacious room with 2 beds. Fan and mosquito nets, generator turned off at 2am though so got a little warm.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. Unique, beautiful, clean and relaxed. They also run trips to all the key beauties of the area - Nosy Iranja, Nosy Tanikely and Nosy Sakatia. The island is home to free roaming lemurs, who live in harmony with the humans - it’s very special.

Peaceful and quiet beach without big hotels. Very nice and comfortable villa with pleasant sitting spaces and open kitchen. Great views.
