A jewel in many respects. Mondello has everything I love about Italy. Very original place at the see. Very good food. And the Villa Massetti perfectly located in this nice village has all the it has all the benefits I expect. Nice modern and clean rooms. Only 6 in total. Best coffee at breakfast. There is a private sandy beach a view steps across the street infront of the villa. And by the way off season tops everything. Because it’s not too hot. Only just below 30 degrees Celsius and you don’t need to share all this with thousands of others. ;-)

Location and the view from terrace is wonderful. Very kind stuff. At our stay it was nice and calm at the villa. No parties. In the room comfy beds. They borrow beach umbrella for free and you also can find beach towels in the room, witch is good.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay! We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation. The place was spotlessly clean, and all the facilities were exactly as described and made available. The landlord was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Roberta is super nice, makes sure that all her guests are comfortable and goes the extra mile. She recommended places to visit and activities in and around Mondello which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful out on the terrace with lots of choices. We have been so happy with the stay and look forward to coming back to Italy soon!

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment is perfectly located right in front of the beach, which made our holiday even more special. The hosts were incredibly friendly. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place!

Our host Stephania was wonderful !! Great communication and service ! The best ! This property was fantastic ! Top location close to all restaurants, supermarkets and facilities. Stunning beach and views from the several balconies and access to a huge pool from the back. Very comfortable beds, white sheets , white towels, washing machine, quality aircon, dishwasher and so much more ! What a find !! We will definitely return !

Staying in this place it is an experience itself. The traditional house is charming, decorated in a vintage style, with decorations from different parts of the world, including in the stairs area. The high ceiling allows for good ventilation in the summer, so we barely used the air conditioning. The bathroom is chic and modern, with everything you need. Overall, the vibe is a mixture of artistic and traditional Italian but with modern facilities ... We felt it was a house that calls for respect. *** We were offered coffee, tea and almond biscuits for coffee/tea breaks that we enjoyed in the outdoor space (tables and seats, shadow and with partial view towards the natural surroundings). *** The neighborhood is green and quiet, and we were able to get by foot to both Mondello beach (on our way we always stopped to some of the most recommended places on Tripadviser for gelato and arancini), and Addaura beach; also, 2-3 minutes away was the bus station to/from Palermo (bus 806). *** Silvia, was always smiling and very kind, proving us assistance even related to our flight (1 day before Etna erupted :) ) or traveling from Catania airport to Mondello. To understand the level of involvement - we booked the place just few days before going to Sicily and it was a case of double booking (which can happen when listing the place on several platforms). This also happened for our Catania place, but they just sent us a message to cancel, without any other details. However, with Silvia was different. I have never seen somebody putting so much effort (on a Sunday) to find a solution for us, not to cancel our holiday ... Also, we locked ourselves outside the room, but she came quickly from the beach (on Sunday), to help us, smiling and ensuring us that it was ok. Thank you, Silvia. It was a pleasure meeting you.

It is really beautiful when life gifts you an experience that is so special in your heart. Ninni collected me from Palermo airport, you can instantly feel Ninni’s respectful and relaxed demeanour. It is Ninni’s priority to make you feel comfortable in his paradise and show you some important places along the way to the house. The information and history is genuine and passionate. The house is modern, tastefully decorated and very clean with a good structure. The location is extremely good, a quiet, private narrow, safe street with everything you need only a couple seconds walk to the square and 5 minutes to the beach. The neighbours are friendly towards you and I made sure to respect their peace when I come and go from the house, they made me feel welcome in their area. On request Ninni can provide you with a local Sicilian dining experience. This was very special because I was able to meet Ninni’s beautiful wife and sing them a song in Te reo Māori. When you taste Ninni’s food it is a truly remarkable experience and made in the traditional way. Mondello people have good energy, they are not overrun with tourists in early June. The beach will be busy in mid summer but when you stay here in Mondello you can go earlier in the morning or evening after the peak periods since it is right there infront of you. Enjoy Mondello, the people of Mondello love their town and go to a lot of effort to look after it to preserve the beauty for the future. I dreamed of this holiday since I was a child, it is very important to me and I know Ninni knew that so he made sure it was unforgettable. I had alot of emotions on this holiday and the kindness of Ninni and his wife reduced me to tears. Ninni and his wife supported me and understood I was very happy and I cried a lot in their company…. To finally really be here, in Mondello in the beautiful guesthouse with such nice hosts. I highly appreciated the understanding from them both for my strong emotions it completely touched my heart.
