I enjoyed very much my stay in The Residence Bintan. The staff was very friendly, hospitable and polite. I felt that they were genuinely looking after me. I felt at home. I loved that the room and the bathroom was so spacious. The bed was very comfy. I could even choose my pillow menu. I stayed in an upper sea view room that had a hammock in the balcony that was fun. I enjoyed very much the BBQ on the beach on Sunday evening. The hotel could perhaps better promote these initiatives, for instance through its WhatsApp. I was pleased to see that the hotel tried to reduce the use of plastic, particularly for water in the rooms. In addition to the regular cleanup by staff every morning, it could consider organising daily beach cleanups with guests as the sea unfortunately brings plastic waste to the shore with the tide. It would be fun too! This was the first time that I stayed in a hotel that regarded solo travelers VIPs. Wow & bagus! (Dear The Residence Bintan, perhaps you could consider this policy when charging for an excursion too. 😉 One pax is one pax, particularly when joining two other fellow travelers. )

I will never forget the days at Trikora; all was beautiful and peaceful. The location is in the front of a clean and blue waters beach. I was delighted with the location; the staff was extra nice and always had a smile. I did have the unique opportunity to observe how little newborn turtles are brought to the sea; this was an unforgettable experience!! CLEAN ROOM - I went there for my honeymoon. The room was clean, spacious and cozy. All the amenities provided were sufficient and in excellent condition. I could not find any flaws in your facilities. The size of the seaview villa was spacious! The lawn was huge and the bathroom was the star of the show. The open-sky concept of the bath tub was indeed special one. You could dip in your warm bath literally under the cool night stars. GREAT ENVIRONMENT - The ambient was quiet and perfect for couple getaway. Don't worry, you would have the entire villa to yourself, so you won't be distracted by other guests. The staff there were super friendly and helpful in fulfilling your requests. The view was 100/100! ACTIVITES - There were many complimentary activities for the guests. You can swim in the pool, play games or kayaking in the beautiful sea. We even booked a snorkeling trip to a nearby kelong through the hotel. Don't worry, the transportation to and fro would be handled by them! DINNER - We went to a nearby kelong for our dinner, the Kelong Elly. But you can have your dinner at the cafe in Sadi, the food looked good too! BREAKFAST - The selection for breakfast was vast. You have ample of choices of food to choose from. From local dishes to western English breakfast. You will be provided with complimentary English breakfast and single ala-carte meal to choose from. Just look at the photo and decide for yourself. The foods were out of this world!

Location was perfect. It was clean and quiet and had all amenities needed, also cooking facilities which we never used. It had no reception but it worked perfect with having contact with the team, Mary, Maica and Yani, via Whatsup. They were very helpful and took often contact and asked if we needed any help.

We went to the resort in May and it was very peaceful and quiet, we basically had the whole common pool for ourselves. The staff and local people in the area were amazing, incredibly welcoming and kind. We fell in love with the people of Bintan. The food at the hotel restaurant Azura is really tasty, especially the smoothies. We drank those all day everyday! We also booked a tour from the hotel and it was really nice!

Literal paradise. Great staff, a beautiful garden where our daughter could run around and play with their lovely dog. Also - maybe a bit unusual to bring up in a review but it says a lot about the place - really nice and interesting guests and dinner conversations. Spa was amazing.

It was.a unique experience, nice and tranquil, hearing the waves at night was relaxing, food was amazing, they also done a bbq that was very tasty, Ari, Vina and Nana was great hosts and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommended 👌

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was very impressed with the hospitality of the staff, especially Linda and Erix. They were very friendly and helpful, and made me feel like I was at home. The hotel is very child-friendly, and my kids loved playing in the pool and on the beach. The staff was always happy to help with anything we needed, and they made sure that we had a great time. The facilities are well-maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. I enjoyed chilling in the room opening the window and feeling gentle sea breeze. I also had the opportunity to go on the firefly tour and the ATV tour, which were both amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. I am already planning my next trip back, and I can't wait to try the snorkeling that Linda recommended.
