A very cozy place with a wonderfully authentic vibe. The staff is friendly, and everything is spotlessly clean. The villas are made entirely of wood — even the doors and all the furniture! It feels truly traditional and charming. Right behind the pool, there’s a shallow area in the sea with beautiful fish and coral reefs, perfect for exploring. If you wish, the hotel can organize a snorkeling tour for you. They’ll take you by boat to three different spots where you can comfortably admire marine life and underwater sights. Equipment rental is also available, which is super convenient. Breakfasts are delicious, though not overly varied. Overall, it’s an amazing hotel, and I’d happily return here again. Highly recommended!

Gede, Wayan, and Made were such wonderful hosts! The room was spotless and had a beautiful view. The breakfasts were delicious. The guesthouse is in a great spot with easy access to snorkeling and many warungs. Gede, Wayan, and Made helped us with any questions we had and helped arrange many things such as laundry and a driver. The driver they arranged, Wayan, was also fantastic. He picked us up in Ubud, drove us to various snorkeling spots in Amed during our stay, and then drove us to Menjangan. So kind and helpful.

Very quiet place, the food is the best one I got in Amed. The snorkeling is good and is very convenient to visit the Japanese wreck. I will defintely go back

We loved the nostalgic old wooden kampung house, the beautiful pool, the sea views and the staff! We also loved that the Kampung is surrounded by rice paddies. Having breakfast every morning on the large patio while sipping coffee and watching the ocean was a great way to start our day. Private massage can be arranged on the pool deck and evening BBQ's are available at a reasonable extra cost. Arranging transportation was very easy and Ketut and the rest of the staff are lovely and attentive. Water pressure is a big bonus and beds have mozzie nets. The AC is also outstanding. There is an Aldi's down the road (within walking distance) where they sell lots of expat provisions (ie wine, yogurt, jams, fresh baked breads, etc). There are smaller local shops nearby as well.

Everything. The food, location and the family that was running the guesthouse. If you can get a bungalow with view to the sea, is just the best. Waking up in the morning to that view is just spectacular. Went out early morning with a fisherman and another tour to Ganggu waterpalace and "gate to heaven, both organised by the family. There is nothing they cant help you with and the food is really excellent. I can highly recommend this great little place right smack in the middle of the fishingboats.

With sea views, Villa Bukit Segara is set in Amed and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, children's playground and year-round outdoor pool.

Fantastic spot, right on the beach next to a great warung for food and drinks, fab sunset views, amazing snorkelling right in front and at Jemeluk beach (10min walk). The Panorama 1 room is amazing, has a huge terrace with fabulous views. Loved it!
