Excellent hotel. All of the staff (from reception to housekeeping, restaurant, bar and wellness) was very kind and hard working, they did a phenomonal job. The hotel itself has been terrific. Great room (parking lot side), very comfortable, no noise, clean, good climate control. Food was on par as well, couldn't wish for anything else. The same goes for the wellness. To have private access to the balaton lake was an amazing bonus.

We loved SZEP BALATON so much! Very comfortable apartment, well equipped, delicious breakfast, private access to lake shore with Sap and inflatable rubber boats. Very friendly staff, who waited for us on arrival date, since our flights were delayed. Excellent and tasty breakfast. Exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms. The view toward the lake Balaton from the balcony above our room was breathtaking and frankly, we drank our coffee there in the mornings and had a glass of wine there before dark, despite of the kind of chilly weather we had during our stay.
