We had an excellent stay at Playa Grande Lodge. The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!

The house was larger than expected,. Big and well equipped kitchen and very comfortable sofa. The large windows made it easy to see some wildlife, especially in the morning. A short walk from a little beach, an ice cream/breakfast place and a couple of restaurant.

For me, it's the best location at Cahuita! Very cozy, peaceful place. Main wonderful moment - roo. I had at the orner room that had an ocean view from both windows. I was able to hear waves all the time - it is very relaxing and unique. At Casa Mamré works very polite and hospitable people, thanks for their service and attention to detail! Everything was very clear. It was very pleasant 10 days for me ! I would highly recommend this place! Straight line from the home, 8 min walk is a National Park with Playa Blanca, from the other side of the home, like 3-5 min walk is a Playa Negra with black sand on it. A few minutes from home is a bus station for all directions (Mepe) and near it is a grocery store Super Negro that accepts bank cards as payment. I so love that home, thanks! ❤️

    The location is great. A nice 15 minute stroll into town. It’s right on the beach and next to a lovely bar and restaurant. The staff are very helpful. The pool is super and the grounds are lovely. The rooms are good although upstairs with air conditioning and a bit more space is worth the extra cost, Marise is extremely helpful.

    Lots of animales in the garden, perfect location opposite the beach, walking distance (15 min.) to Cahuita Ntl. Park entrance and town center, super helpful and relaxed Marise and Pierre...perfect time and place in Cahuita. Thanks Marise and Pierre for sharing this wonderful spot.

    Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and spacious. The grounds were amazing! A huge variety of wildlife in the garden- agoutis, sloths, little green frogs, lizards and iguanas in the trees! It was heaven to get back from a day out and jump in the pool. Also, I could take my morning coffee over the road to enjoy on the beach.

    We loved this place! The decor was gorgeous, we had a lovely veranda overlooking the garden, it felt really safe and friendly, great location right on the beach, near to restaurants and short walk into town. Would highly recommend!
