I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet-style property. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled between the mountains and the lake, it offers a postcard-perfect view right from the window. My room was cozy yet modern, with a comfy bed, a large TV, and a lovely balcony furnished with wooden chairs — perfect for soaking in the breathtaking views of both the lake and the surrounding Alps. The property itself has a charming, old-world wooden chalet design, giving it a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite the traditional style, the room was very well-maintained and felt fresh and comfortable. Getting to the property is super easy — it’s just a 4-minute bus ride from Spiez Bahnhof on the B60 bus, and the bus stop is conveniently located right across the street. The same bus line also takes you directly to Interlaken in the other direction, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The lake nearby is truly mesmerizing, perfect for a peaceful walk or just relaxing by the water. There’s even a lovely Greek restaurant just a short walk from the property, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and scenic getaway in the Swiss Alps.

Nice and generous hosts who answered every question and every request in an exceptional way. The host was very nice , and available for any request. Breathtaking view, you feel like sleeping on top of the lake. Lovely hostfamily! Nice concept with the beautiful terrace-bar underneath the hotel. Self-checkin and -out work very well. I had the perfect break I was looking for and could easily recharge my batteries, even though it was just for one night at the "Haus am See". I'll come back for sure!
