The place had a great location, it was very private and peaceful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Natalie for being a great host. The food amazing, I had most of my meals there and they were all fresh and delicious. I loved the free kayaks, SUP boards and snorkeling equipment. All transfers to and from the island were arranged by the host which was super helpful. Thank you again!

I cannot recommend Oasis Bluff Beach enough, it’s AMAZING. The place itself and the rooms are super beautiful, the beach is amazing, the food is more than delicious but most of all, the people who work there are the BEST. Thanks so much for everything! Ps. Don’t forget to order the lemon pie

Together with my 13-year-old daughter I had the pleasure to spend one week in the Pirate Arts Resort on Carenero Island. At first, I was hesitant to fly all the way from Germany to Panama but luckily my daughter insisted. And it was so worth it. Before we even sat foot on the island, we were very well taken care of. Weeks in advance, the managing director sent us a welcome letter which included how to get there, a very nice selection of trips and excursions to do, where to eat, etc. It also included some very practical tips in terms of which insect-repellent to buy and to stop at the local supermarket to buy the snacks you will be craving after dinner. When we finally sat foot on the island it felt like stepping into another world. There was the main house with the restaurant (it was closed when we visited but will be reopened in December and the whole operations will be run by a German chef – funny coincidence) and then there were a couple of separate 2-story houses with apartments in a tropical garden. Oh, that garden. So well maintained and so beautiful. Our apartment had a huge veranda with a table for four, a hammock, some lounge chairs (this is where I enjoyed my morning coffee) and 2 deck-chairs. Ah, and there was a star-fruit tree right in front of our house and we took full advantage of it 😊 On the veranda was a huge ventilator to keep the mosquitos away. Inside the apartment we had a big room with a fully furnished kitchen and living room with lots of books and board games. Our suite had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air-conditioning and ventilators. I also loved the fact that there were flower arrangements on every table and a fruit basket in the kitchen. Yummy. Behind the house was a washing-machine and a dryer – all very convenient. The people working there were very friendly – it felt more like a community. Beautiful little house in a beautiful garden.

I had an amazing stay at Tierra Verde! A 3 minute walk from Caranero town and the closest supermarket, it is peaceful, and still only a 1 minute boat ride away from Bocas town, from the hotels own boat deck right out the front! The surf breaks are a 10 minute walk away! The room was homey and clean; and had all amenities one could need, towels, great AC, hot water, a wardrobe, a smart TV and even a key lock box on the door so keys can be stored safely when heading for a surf or swim! There is a beautiful garden with sea view and pool right out the front and a fully equipped kitchen to use for guests! The breakfast included is fresh, filling and delicious! But most of all, the manager Edgar and his whole team are extremely lovely! I felt welcome and well taken care of from the minute I arrived:) Will definitely be staying here again when returning to Caranero!

Chango's is a nice place close to the docks ,restaurants and the small airport. The apartament is clean and cozy, equipped with all you need. The owner is friendly, polite and helpful so your stay should be a bliss.
