The host also arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. There are not many pots and pans in the kitchen but that was fine for us because we didn’t do much cooking. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood and there are many wonderful restaurants. We also appreciated the front desk security officers, which made us feel safe and secure. In a sidestreet in Miraflores, so not that noisy (though you of course hear the cars driving past). Centrally located close to everything. Safe area, even during the night. The only negative thing: You have to really air our the hot air after a shower, otherwise your towels will never dry (no ventilation system other then the windows, but that is the standard in Peru)
