Spacious apartment, clean and comfortable. We only stopped for 1 night, but it'd be great for a longer stay for a bigger group as well. Quick check-in without the need to meet in person.

The family were so welcoming and friendly (including the dog, Chip!) Beautiful rural hillside location . A nice retreat and welcome break!

The place is spacious, clean, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Our group of four felt right at home, thanks to the warm hospitality of the hosts. Nestled amidst stunning natural surroundings, the location offers a serene getaway and it’s just an hour drive from Interlaken and Lucerne. We arrived late, it got very dark and were having difficulty to find the place, but Prisca's daughter came to our rescue on a bike. They were really kind and sweet. We enjoyed fresh milk from their farm everyday. Would love to be back!!

We've spent a week in Eggelried with a family of four (kids 4 and 7). The place is exceptional for many reasons: (1) Barbara and her family are wonderful hosts. We were so well taken care of (thank you, Barbara!) and, in the same time, we had all the privacy we needed. The communication (in EN and FR) was very efficient before, during and after our stay. (2) The apartment is spacious, clean, very practical, exceptionally well equipped (like home), with big cozy living room (toys!) and wonderful views from the windows all-around. There are anti-insects solutions (incl. nets on windows), so you are not bothered by flies. (3) The farm is beautiful. The garden offers a lot of playing opportunities for kids. The hot tub with the mountain/stars views was very relaxing. The big terrace offers you a possibility to eat outside. The variety of animals and the possibility for kids to engage in the farm work and feeding the animals was great - they've enjoyed it so much! Dogs usually have made my kids anxious, and it was also a case during the first days of our stay, but now, when I ask them what they've liked most during the holiday, the answer is: Simba and Blake! (4) The location is great. With detailed instructions given by the host, we have found the farm easily (despite darkness and fog). There was a covered parking place ready for us - very close to the entrance to the apartment, so it was logistically easy with luggage and kids. You can start you walking route from your front door - no need to get anywhere by car. The views around are stunning. There is a restaurant close to the farm (10 min walk). (5) The possibility to buy (for a very reasonable price) delicious fresh or homemade milk/bread/cheese/jams/butter...... was a highlight on top of everything above. It made our stay easy and care-free. We've got everything we needed and a lot of unexpected surprises too!

The serenity of a calm place. Beautiful apartment

The location. Ample space for family. The host is very responsive. Clean home and we really love the neighbourhood. We can literally walk to the lake and had a good swim. The parking space is convenient.

Perfect parking next to the house. Cozy bedroom. Clean and modern toilet. Great privacy. Very warm and hospitable host. Wholesome breakfast with fresh home baked bread.

We were the first guests at this property, and everything was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped. The peaceful location offered stunning views of the valley below, with horses and cows grazing nearby—truly a Swiss countryside dream. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A memorable and relaxing stay—highly recommended!

Everything ! The house was lovely , high up In the hills. The rental is the entire lower floor , surrounded by gorgeous natural gardens and the decoration was very tasteful, I loved it ! My favourite place to sit for breakfast was in a small terrace outside the kitchen which had spectacular views of the mountains. It is a good walk up to the property if you like walking if not take an uber. Ann the hostess was there to greet us on arrival . Most definitely recommend this place.

Excellent location - very close to main train station and old town. Comfortable beds and large bedrooms. Nearby grocery store. Very clear and prompt communication with the host who met us at the door. Perfect hub for day hikes accessible via train. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.
