It was definitely worth the stay.

The room was a bit compact, but we did some shuffle around with the tables and made it work for the 3 of us - sizing is great for a couple or 2 people. Location is perfect, super close to everything, downtown, train station, river. Would love to stay here again if I come back to Hiroshima!

Located in Hiroshima within 1 km of Hiroshima Station and 1.7 km of Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu, GRAND BASE Hiroshima Hikarimachi provides rooms with free WiFi. This 3-star aparthotel offers full-day security. The aparthotel features family rooms. The place was great for our visit to Hiroshima. The distance is 15 mins walk from Hiroshima Station. On the way from the station there is Aeon/Maxvalue store to buy your daily needs. It comes equip with fully functional kitchen and dryer function in the bathroom. The TV size is big with access to streaming channels, but we did not watch much as we were busy exploring Hiroshima and Miyajima. Just a heads up the room does not have a dining table but a small coffee table. Works for me and my family. Communication with the host was fast and responsive, despite it's a self-service accommodation with no front desk. Recommend the place.

Not spacious by any means, but maneuverable. Location is easy to find, about 10 minutes from Hiroshima station, streets are well paved so it’s not too difficult to roll luggage there. Washing machine in room is functional, and powdered washing detergent is included as well. Clothes can be dried in the bathroom, with the “drying” ventilation mode turned on!
