It’s nice to step outside the drab and redundant monotony of modern architecture and step back in time. Once you step inside though, your room is spacious, pillows are comfy, the bathroom is big enough to move around in and the deck area ugh, great to step outside and watch time go by in the Austrian wilderness. Even though I was ill during my stay, the property’s ambiance made me feel right at home. The sauna provides warmth both literally and figuratively, the lobby is so cozy, the breakfast room really feels like more upscale dining and Martina’s amazing. She and her husband really put forth a great effort into making Apparthotel Thalerhof their life’s dream and work.

The apartment is clean and fully equipped (including a hairdryer, towels, dishwasher tablets etc.) There were also cots and a high chair available for our children. The location of the accommodation is also good. There is a very good bakery and a train stop within walking distance. The ski bus stop is right in front of the apartment. The landlady was nice and helpful. The sauna, which is available for free, is also unique. We really recommend this accommodation. And I think we will come back :))
