Set in private gardens above Portpatrick, Fernhill Hotel boasts open views over the village, harbour and Irish Sea. An exceptionally pleasant stay, partly due to an extraordinarily friendly staff, two wonderfully cozy rooms with a view worthy of postcards. Beds were super comfy and the breakfast arrangement was perfect, with an option between continental and full Scottish. What a treat! We left with a smile and are looking forward to our next stay at this gem!

Located within 10 acres of landscaped grounds, the Victorian-style Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro Hotel offers breathtaking views of the Trossachs. Everything was fabulous! It was a wonderful find and I would recommend it to anyone planning to visit the Stirling area! The staff were impressive, from reception and concierge to waiting and bar staff; nothing was a problem or inconvenience. Breakfast was amazing in a beautiful room! The grounds and building g are magnificent!
