Newark (e a região no entorno) é uma cidade bastante...
Newark (e a região no entorno) é uma cidade bastante interessante, principalmente por ter o aeroporto mais conveniente da região de Nova Iorque (código do aeroporto é EWR - Newark/NY Liberty International Airport), sendo o mais fácil e rápido para se chegar em Nova Iorque. A proximidade com Manhattan/Nova Iorque é perfeita porque os preços daquele lado do Rio Hudson em questão de hospedagem são bem atraentes. Outra coisa muito legal é o Shopping Center chamado The Mills at Jersey Gardens que tem lojas de outlet muito boas. Lembrar também que como no estado de Nova Jérsei a maioria dos ítens de outlet não possuem taxa, isso faz uma enorme diferença/economia na hora de se fazer compras. Uma dica imperdível para se conhecer é o Hamilton Park em Weehaken na Boulevard East que tem uma vista fantástica de Manhattan, principalmente no finalzinho da tarde e início da noite.. se for lua cheia com céu claro, então... sem palavras!!

Newark é a opção mais barata para quem não quer ficar em NYC...
Newark é a opção mais barata para quem não quer ficar em NYC, mas é uma cidade suja, pessoas mal educadas e muitos pedintes. A Penn Station é feia e mal cheirosa. A distância entre a estação e o Oculus é aproximadamente 50 mins. Da próxima vez quero economizar mais para não ter que ficar em Newark.
