Situated in Ponta Delgada in the São Miguel region, Apartamento Valados has a patio. The apartment has so much room for either one or two people and it was spotless, with a great kitchen space too. I only spent one night there but I would recommend it for a much longer stay. It's pretty close to the airport, at a 30-minute walking distance if you don't have transport, and you can carry your own luggage there as the road leading to it has a sidewalk, you can check it on Google Maps. Good communication by the owner also.

Maria’s house was beautiful, very comfortable, super clean and well located. Room we had was huge, luxuriously furnished and with a great ocean view. Delicious fresh breakfast was included. Maria is a wonderful person that treated us as a part of her famil, she is pur Azorean mum! She is extremely kind,helpful, fun, we had very nice chats with her. It felt like a real homestay experience! We also loved the little dog Lola, who gently loved us back!We highly recommend this accommodation and especially meeting Maria!
