The host was very nice and accomodating: As I was leaving early the following morning and would not have breakfast she offered to switch with a dinner. I was very happy about it as I had nothing to eat!!! She also picked me up from my previous accomodation and also dopped me at the ferry very early morning. She did not charge me for that service, was included she told me.

We rented bicycles which functioned exceptionally well and rode around the island. Breakfast was very nice.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay on Maupiti! We haven’t seen such clean and well-kept rooms in a long time. The house itself is beautiful and very tastefully arranged, which made us feel instantly at home. The accommodation is not only lovely and comfortable but also offers incredibly kind and friendly hospitality. On arrival and departure we were given flower garlands, which added an even more personal and welcoming touch. Breakfasts were another highlight – fresh local fruit and delicious pancakes with Nutella (yum!). We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic, pleasant and spotless stay on Maupiti.

The three bungalows each have enough room for a bed and little else. Large baggage goes into the communal dining area which has a table, good bottled water and charging connections for phone. The bungalows are on the edge of a short cliff down to the beachhead that one would walk to Terei'a beach, a 1/2 mile away. Toilettes and showers are nearby and hold the only sinks. They are clean and adequate. The views over the lagoon are spectacular with nightime viewing of the stars wonderful when there is no moon and no clouds. Lights dim about 11 PM, so a 2 -3 am viewing is very good. The beachhead walk to Tereia is passable high or low tide, but may have to walk around large rocks in the water. The bed was very comfortable.
