The apartment was spacious, clean and we love the large bathroom with toiletries provided. Kitchen was more than adequately equipped with paper towels, lots of dishes and eating utensils. There were also lots of towels.

I had expected more like a very touristic and overrated place, but the room and the ice sculptures and the whole ice hotel was very-very impressive and almost magical! The stuff was very helpful during my whole stay, and the equipment (sleeping bag, balaclava, wollen socks) worked very well. The sauna is a highlight after a night in the cold, and the shower and bath room are very clean and nice. The breakfast was way better than at any other places in Norway with a large selection of delicious food and drink. I totally recommend to visit the hotel during the summer time, then you probably can have the whole place just for you or maybe with a couple of other guests.

The stand in manager Mike went above and beyond. He drove us to the port when our transport failed to arrive, stopped the boat for us and although offered money for his time and trouble he would not accept it as he advised he was there to help. The staff was so nice that she offered me early check in as I arrived at the airport early in the morning. I saw northern lights just in the hotel during my staying at the hotel. So lucky. :-)

I had the best sleep of my life on my trip to the nordics in this hotel - and I was able to check in right after booking through booking.com. So grateful
