A recently renovated apartment, Luqa Apartment - 5 mins from Airport offers accommodations in Luqa. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi. A huge apartment, extremly clean (and I mean it), with everything working perfectly. Close to the airport too. Very quiet rooms, Lidl nearby, buses to any destination (Valletta, Gozo, etc) nearby too. We were very happy with our stay here! The apartment is so big that you can do sport simply by going from the sleeping rooms to the kitchen :) We already regret leaving it!

Fairwinds - Double Room with Ensuite - Luqa Airport - Self Check In & Out available offers accommodations in Luqa, 3.7 miles from Valletta Waterfront and 4.1 miles from Upper Barrakka Gardens. The location was perfect for a stay in this part of Malta. Getting there at night from the Airport on foot in thirty minutes. Do not worry if on Google maps you see photos of construction sites - those are outdated photos! It is all built and paved now, nice to walk on (July 2025). Facilities and cleanliness were spot on.

The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast. It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

We loved the beautiful back streets, the local people were so kind and friendly. Everyone wS do incredibly helpful. The cuisine was delicious and we loved Jeff's patitsis especially the pea. The harbour view and long board walk was breathtaking, so much history here. So much to see. Its such an incredible place. A little hidden treasure. One of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Extremely kind and responsive host! He replied immediately to all our questions and was always available. We needed a cooler bag, and the host provided one right away. The maisonette has everything necessary for a longer stay. We were two friends with two children, who were also very happy. I highly recommend this place for accommodation! :)

During my short stay, I had the beast meal at a little bistro very close to the apartment. Other food options were available too. I hated the public transport and the fact that you have to wave to the bus driver to stop otherwise they just drive pass you. I wish somebody told me that beforehand. Also, buses are never on time and they are around 15-20 minutes late. However, they are quite frequent and you can get everywhere in 10 minutes. I liked the Sunday flea market in Birgu and the whole Three Cities area.
