Ideally located inside Narita Airport’s Terminal 2, 9h nine hours Narita Airport offers modern capsule rooms with a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi at public areas. The location inside the airport is very convenient for those who depart early in the morning. The electrical plugs inside the capsules are not really working well, but otherwise everything is comfortable and very clean.

Situated within 49 km of Shopping Mall SHOPS and 50 km of Chiba Museum of Science and Industry, Toyoko Inn Narita Airport Honkan features rooms in Narita. Excellent Value and Convenience Near Narita Airport I stayed at Toyoko Inn Narita Airport before my early morning flight, and it was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and incredibly convenient. The location is ideal for travelers, with a free shuttle service to and from Narita Airport that runs on time and is very easy to use. It made catching my flight stress-free and smooth. The room was compact, as expected, but very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed: a comfortable bed, a mini-fridge, kettle, and a spotless bathroom. Despite being close to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet and I had a great night’s sleep. The free breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus — simple but fresh, with both Japanese and Western options. Great for a quick bite before heading to the airport. The staff were polite, efficient, and helpful. Check-in was quick, and they also offer luggage storage, which is very convenient if you arrive early. For anyone looking for a reliable, budget-friendly hotel near Narita Airport, I highly recommend Toyoko Inn. It offers great value, especially with the included shuttle and breakfast. I’ll definitely use it again for future layovers or early flights.

Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) Information

Location and Transport

Set 37 miles (60 kilometres) east of Tokyo, Tokyo Narita International Airport is set between the towns of Narita and Shibayama. Central Tokyo can be reached in 36 minutes by Keisi Skyliner Express or the Narita Express which takes 50 minutes. Both stop at terminals 1 and 2 (there’s a bus link between terminals 2 and 3). Taxis stop at each terminal and cost around JPY 16000 to get to Tokyo’s Zone A.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

There are a few hotels located by the terminals with more found in Narita and many offering a shuttle service. Shops can be found in all terminals, but the biggest selections are in terminals 1 and 2. You’ll find eateries dishing up traditional Japanese cuisine, as well as venues serving food from further afield. There are often cultural exhibitions with past shows including Ukiyo-e printing, a tea ceremony and Bonsai tree displays.

Terminal Information

Terminals 1 and 2 offer most amenities, with Terminal 1 acting as a hub for major airlines like Japan Air and Delta. Terminal 3 is where most low-cost airlines leave from, and you can reach the larger terminals (and train stations) by shuttle bus or foot.
